Many of you, I am sure, are concerned about the future health and welfare of our Communities, Commonwealth, Country, and World.   While we combat the pandemic of the coronavirus. Please follow my social media outlets for regular updates, as well as Governor Northam, Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the CDC for advice on how to proceed with your daily life as we go forward.

The Virginia emergency operation center has set up this email address so that all Virginians with questions, comments, and concerns around COVID-19 have a resource at their disposal. The email address account is monitored by the Joint Information Center staff and relayed to the appropriate subject matter expert.

Testing for COVID-19

After receiving additional COVID-19 testing kits, Sentara Healthcare is now able to reopen drive-thru screening and testing sites in Hampton Roads. Ask yourself these questions:

Do you have 2 of the 3 symptoms below?

  • Fever (100.4 degrees or higher)
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath

Please only use the drive-thru screening if you believe you have symptoms of the Coronavirus or believe you have come into contact with another individual who has tested positive for it.
